Cannabidiol (CBD): One of many compounds found in the cannabis hemp plant. Ashwagandha is also used therapeutically as an adaptogen for patients with debility due to stress and general exhaustion.
Green Tea with Caffeine: Green Tea Catechins (GTC) are polyphenolic compounds present in the unfermented dried leaves of the plant, Camellia Sinensis. Results from a number of trials have shown that consumption of GTC may reduce body weight and fat. GTC seems to influence sympathetic nervous system (SNS) activity, increasing energy expenditure and promoting the oxidation of fat. Caffeine, naturally present in green tea, also influences SNS activity and may act synergistically with GTC to increase energy expenditure and fat oxidation.
Ginseng: Chronic fatigue greatly affects the quality of life and is a common reason for consulting a physician. Since conventional therapy is often of limited help, fatigued patients may use herbal treatments. There are some possible biological mechanisms for the efficacy of ginseng on mental and physical fatigue reduction and physical performance enhancement. Although studies indicated that ginseng increases cognitive performance, its mechanisms remain unknown. This may be related to the ginseng’s glycemic properties. Ginseng affects brain activity, specifically by increasing cortical levels of dopamine, noradrenalin, serotonin, and cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). An in vitro study suggested that ginseng increases energy produced aerobically in the brain.

Pharmacological activities of ginger extracts show effects on the central nervous system, antipsychotic action, tranquilizing effects, anti-fatigue action, and acceleration of metabolism.
Rhodiola:
Rhodiola Rosea is a medicinal plant from the Cras-sulaceae family, with the main active substance salidroside, a phenylpropanoide. Rhodiola has a long tradition as a medicinal plant in several European countries, notably Iceland. This adaptogen has been shown to reduce common non-pathological stress under usual working activity.
Astragalus Root: Astragalus membranaceus is a famous Chinese medicinal herb. Polysaccharides are the most important functional constituent in Astragalus Root. It has been shown that intake of Astragalus membranaceus polysaccharides (APS) are beneficial in improving endurance capacity. Studies have shown Schisandra chinensis polysaccharide (SCP) aids in restoring certain disturbed pathways in the TCA cycle resulting in improvement of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. In healthy subjects, Schizandra Fruit increases endurance and accuracy of movement, mental performance and working capacity, and generates alterations in the basal levels of nitric oxide and cortisol in blood and saliva with subsequent effects on the blood cells, vessels and CNS.
