Henry Childers, IV, MD, FAAO leads Delaware Integrative Medicine with a focus on regenerative, integrative, and non surgical treatment options designed to help patients improve function, reduce pain, and pursue better long term wellness. Dr. Childers received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, completed his surgery residency at The New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center, and went on to complete a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. He also served as a senior clinical associate in surgery at Cornell University Medical College and as chief resident in the Department of Surgery at The New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center.
He later practiced cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and is also described as a former cardiothoracic surgery department chairman.
